Registering Domain Name

These are address on internet that points to our internet home, just as house no., street no., city, state do in our home address.

Buying Web Space

This is the second import thing as till now we have got virtual address on internet but it don't has space just as land in case of physical existence. So need a space on internet to store our website .

Pointing : This is card thing required only when our space and domain is located on different places. Suppose I have domain on godaddy and space on hostgator.
So in this case I have to change nameservers on godaddy server to point to hostgator and on hosgator I have add my domain as add on domain . this option is control panel of hosting account.

Webdesign : Now comes the another thing i.e. look and feel of our site. You can hire any professional for this or contact babysoft software at support@babysoft.in .
Or you can choose any template from free sites and then you can upload it your server.

I am assuming that you already have a site ready.
Now you need to upload it to your server.
You can upload your files to your hosting space either by file manager or by ftp.
to protect your space from malware use FTP:file transfer protocol , just looks similar to our computer folders . for this you need any ftp client like filezilla .
it requires ftp host name same as your server name , user name and password same as hosting details. After logging into it just go to www folder then this is root directory. Upload your files here.
And this is done.
If you don't want so much pain. Just register your domain and space yourself rest hire any professional for website. Static websites cost around 4000 INR with 5-6 pages.
