The government has recently launched the National Pension Scheme (NPS).
Big institutions, Banks and brokerages will participate and assist the scheme.
Any person can deposit his savings in the age of 18 to 55 years. Minimum monthly
and yearly subscriptions are Rs.500/- and Rs.6000/- respectively. The pensioner
has to operate the a/c once in a three months. A/c can be opened with 18 nominated
banks and 4 financial institutions.
Very useful to small persons who want to secure their futures to some extent.
Only negative point is "no guaranteed return". So my suggestion is to the Govt. and
Scheme arranger please re-look and guarantee minimum assured return for the
subscribers . This will fullfil the expections of 'AAM AADMI' .
